Golab Adineh, who is married to veteran actor Mehdi Hashemi, said that if she were to give away her Crystal Simorgh to anyone, she would definitely give it to her husband.
She has acted in over 10 films and says she likes them all.
Golab Adineh was born in Tehran and is a graduate of Tehran’s Shahid Beheshti University. She began her artistic career in 1975 in a student theater troupe named Pedestrian directed by Mehdi Hashemi and Dariush Farhang, and acted in the plays “Citizen”, “A Story Not So New”, “Madame Pi Pi”, and “Mechanical People”.
She later continued her thespian work in the films “Rasul, Son of Abolqassem” directed by Dariush Farhang and “Shepherds of the Desert” directed by Hossein Mahjub.
She made her name in the TV series “The Sultan and the Shepherd”, and also played roles in the films “Yellow Canary” directed by Rakhshan Bani-Etemad, “Silent Hunting” by Kiumars Purahmad, “White Wings” by Naser Hashemi, “Under the Skin of the City” by Rakhshan Bani-Etemad, and “Mom’s Guest” by Dariush Mehrjuii.
She was awarded a Crystal Simorgh for best supporting actress for her role in the film “Blue Veil” at the 13th Fajr Film Festival. She was also a nominee for best actress for her role in the film “Mom’s Guest” at the 22nd Fajr festival.
She is currently busy writing and directing several plays for children and has established a children’s troupe named

Composer Majid Entezami, who has been awarded for his soundtracks at previous festivals, is also to be honored at the opening ceremony.
He has received four Crystal Simorghs for composing the music for the films “The Day of the Event”, “The Cyclist”, “Glass Agency”, and “One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest”, and honorary diplomas for the soundtrack music of the films “From the Karkheh to the Rhine” and “Secret of the Dagger”.
He said that the awards have greatly influenced his works, adding, “Even if there were no award, but I was just told that my music was good, it would have its effect on my next work.”
Asked to whom he would present his special Crystal Simorgh if he were to give it away, he replied that he would keep it for himself.

He entered the world of cinema when he composed the music for director Ali-Akbar Sadeqi’s short film “Zal va Simorgh”.
He later composed the soundtracks for many movies including “Red Line” “Dossier”, “Senator”, “Secret Fire”, “Apple”, “Saint Mary”, “I, Taraneh, Am 15”, “Duel”, and “Somewhere to Live”.
His latest work is the Symphony of Sacrifice, which he composed for the great anniversary of the liberation of Khorramshahr.
